The company strives to make a positive impact in our clients’ lives to improve care and outcomes.  Through our integrated care model, we work closely with partner clinics to ensure high-quality behavioral health care to an expanding patient population.  We are seeking a Financial Reporting Supervisor to provide financial reporting support to the business and lead a team of reporting analysts.  This position is located at Genoa’s corporate headquarters in Renton, WA.


Major Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Director of Accounting and Reporting, the Financial Reporting Supervisor will be responsible for month-end reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting requests and accounts receivable reporting, analysis and issue resolution.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of three data analysts that provide reporting, analysis and reconciliation in support of the revenue and fiscal month-end close cycles
  • Develop metrics and reporting that help provide data for critical decision making
  • Work collaboratively across the Billing, Accounting and Contracting departments to support strategic initiatives and solve operational challenges
  • Proactively communicate observations and related recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Drive business performance by analyzing key performance results, identifying operational inefficiencies, and participating in operational initiatives to improve core metrics
  • Work cross-functionally to accelerate third party collections and address open billing issues
  • Create and launch a standard process for accounts receivable exceptions management/issue resolution
  • Prepare ad-hoc management reports, research and analysis
  • Primary relationship manager with third party cash application service


Educational or Skill Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Ability to attract, retain and develop talent
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency and project/time management skills
  • Experience working with multiple financial systems
  • Excellent communication skills along with the ability to condense complex information so that it is both easy to digest and actionable in application
  • Excellent process management skills
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Strong team player, results oriented, metrics driven and capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Must have advanced competency in MS Office products, specifically Excel
